Latest reviews of My Speed Limit app for iPhone and iPad
Used for testing my cars speedometer. After testing with stopwatch on highway, I found I waa driving 71/72mph as MSL app said, while my car said 79/80mph. Happy.
It now has a warning tone when you exceed (thanks!), but that unfortunately STOPS any music that might be playing and its a low sound - perhaps have some sound choices to pick from. It really needs a secondary warning option as well, like flashing the whole screen or using the camera flash as an option. Additionally, it would be really nice if the speed limit buttons were moved down a bit, and the current speed was shown above them, otherwise you have to keep tabbing back and forth as you drive. Nice work, but I am keeping the rating at 3 since I still cant really use it while driving. I think it has great promise though, and am sincerely looking forward to the next update!
It supposed to give an audible signal, but there is no setting for it. I had to reset all settings every time I went to this app after switching to another app. GPS is too slow and doesnt catch up to the actual speed until several seconds later, just enough time for the cop to clock you. Pretty much useless! Wish I could get my money back!
